The game begins when you start chatting with the chatbot corresponding to your mission, on the Messenger application. After giving it your access code, it will tell you the details of your mission. You can then set off on your adventure, wandering the streets in search of clues. Observe your surroundings, solve puzzles and interact with your digital companion (and your teammates) to complete your quest.

Anyone can play! Our scenarios are designed to be played from around the age of 12, but children of all ages can take part in the search for clues with their parents (if the parents have understood the riddle and explain what to look for to the children). You can then set off on an adventure through the streets of Versailles in search of clues. Observe your surroundings, solve puzzles and interact with your digital companion (and your teammates) to complete your quest.

As with a classic indoor escape game, you need to select the number of players in your team (excluding children under 12, for whom it's free). Some game mechanics will only be activated once a certain number of players has been reached, so it's vital to select the actual number of players. Besides, the number of smartphones that can be connected to the game is strictly limited to the number of players indicated when the order was placed. The treasure hunt takes on a whole new dimension when you play with several connected players.

It's not essential - you need at least 1 to be able to play. However, the team mechanics are activated when you have 3 or more smartphones, to encourage communication between you. We also advise groups of more than 3 players to have at least 2/3 phones for greater playing comfort.

It's up to you! Once you've ordered your game, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your game access code. You can then start the game (see How do I start a game?) on the day you want. So you don't need to reserve a date, and you can decide at the last minute if the weather is good. As soon as the order is placed on the site, you can play your game straight away.

A charged smartphone with internet access (1/team compulsory - 1/player recommended) to access the Messenger application or our dedicated web page.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing your game access code and a link to the chatbot corresponding to your mission. To start the game, you just hae to click on the link contained in the email from your smartphone. Once the conversation has started, follow the instructions given by I.N.V.I.T. (the chatbot) directly on your smartphone.
